How is everyone doing? I just wanted to say how proud I am of the city of Newton, IL. I lived there for only 8 years( main school years) and I miss it. I have lived in over 10 cities, went to 8 different schools, and I must say the best had to be Newton High School. I did not graduate with my classmates and friends I had grown up with. I left in spring of 2001, because of family problems, but I have never forgot those fine people of Newton. To say the least I have lived a rough life, but the values and skills all of the Newton teachers and wonderful people have taught me, have molded me into the man I am today. I am now serving in the United States Navy, pursuing my goal of becoming a JAG Officer as well as a big-time civilian Corporate lawyer. I am have never lived in a community that cared so much about its students and its sports programs( I had to say it). lol. Growing up
