marriage and family, I have twice driven alone to San Diego, CA and back. What is your Current Marital Status? Married for 46 years (this August) to Larry Short, also Class of '58. How do you like to spend free time? Reading, genealogy, gardening, traveling - all in addition to time with family. Any Children? Grandchildren? Names? Ages? Kathleen Jo, age 44;; Norman Alan, age 43; Patricia Lynne, age 41. Do you have any pets? Three cats, one dog What is your living arrangement? Live on farm with husband. If you had the opportunity, what would you change since graduation? More travel Type of employment, profession, business, work, etc. that you do or have done. School Psychologist How many years? 21 What is the full name of the person you are married to? Larry Dean Short From what School and Class Year did your Spouse graduate? Newton High in Class of '58 We have five grandchildren - one married and completing a master's degree in dietics (daughter of Norman). One who just completed high school in Fisher, IL and will attend Parkland Jr. College to start a program in massage therapy and one who will be a junior at Fisher this fall (daughter and son of Patti). One who graduated from high school in Lemon Grove, CA and currently working while waiting to start college and one who will be a junior this fall either in Lemon Grove or Carson City, NV, depending on when they move (daughter and son of Kathy). Larry and I collect art pottery, mostly from companies
no longer in business. We travel to hunt for what we collect and have made many
friends this way. He also collects Indian artifacts and I collect Christmas
decorations from the 1040's and 50's and older Halloween decorations. I recently
began a collection Jasper County memorabilia. I am now semi-retired and work a
day or two a week providing school psychological services to Dieterich, IL. Click your “BACK” button to return.
